Christmas Page swap with Gina at Myscraproom
I have another swap to share with you! This one is a Christmas mini album page swap. Our pages had to be 6x6 and again use traditional Christmas colors. I used bazzill cardstock and Joys of the Seasons and Christmas solutions cricut cartridges.
First page the presents inside the sleigh are welded together using my Cricut Design Studio (a must have) to make foldable tags. The little toy plane behind the presents was the only cut from the New Arrival cart. It too was welded together to make a fold out tag. I used my i-rock tool (also a must have) to put some bling on the reindeers harnesses.
The next page I made a paper flower using my sizzix flower layers #2 die. I was going for the pionsetta look. For the center of the flower I used cream colored beads and colored them using a yellow sharpie marker. The flourish was layered with chipborad and cardstock and inked with peeled paint distress ink. The tags/journaling pieces are graphics purchased from the Lettering Delights store. http://www.letteringdelights.com
Last page is my fold out fireplace. It is a foldout with four photomats hidden under the fireplace.
As a bous i also made a charm for everyone in my page group.
Thanks for stopping by!

Banner Swap with Gina(Scrappinlogy) at myscraproom
Hello everyone. I participated in a banner swap over at myscraproom.ning.com hosted by Gina. The word was "Believe". We had to make our banner piece 6x6 in any shape and use traditional christmas colors.
My pieces were cut out of recycled cereal boxes and bazzill cardstock using the Winter Woodland cricut cartridge. The tree branch was cut using kraft paper and then distressed in vintage photo ink by TH Ranger. Instead of cutting out the circles for the berries on the branch, I used aged mahogany distress ink and then used fired brick distressed stickles on top. For the snow effect, I used liquid applique in white and then sprinkled some fine glitter while still wet and dried it with my heat gun.
This was a fun and quick project!! I was very pleased with my results, especially being my first banner swap!!

Halloween Tag Swap with Ivett Carillo
Here's another Halloween tag swap I joined. I really love Halloween so I couldn't resist! Please check out Ivett @ivettcarrillo.blogspot.com.
For my tag I cut the Werewolf from another file I purchased from svgcuts.com. The background I got from the dollar bin at Target. I distressed the edges with black acrylic paint and used Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst spray in Ghostly Gargoyle White. On dark paper this gives off a blue shimmer which I loved since I wanted that "night" look. I also used my Paper Dolls Cartridge to cut out the scary rock, and the trees were cut using my Stretch your Imaginations cartridge. The fence is from a Martha Stewart punch and the moon was cut from orange hologram cardstock. Happy Halloween!!

Iscraphappy Halloween Tag Swap
I participated in a tag swap with Aliscia @ iscraphappy on you tube. She had different groups and I was in the "Candy" group. Our tags had to be 6 1/2 x 3 1/4 i size. I cut out my candy corn from a file I purchased at svgcuts.com. The spider web stamp is by Inkadinkado and is embossed in black embossing powder and the little spider is a brad by Recollections. I used green cardstock for the background paper and sprayed it with Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst Sprays in Freaky Franken-lime. For the phrase I used my Dymo label maker in black and cut out each word. I used purple ribbon and black fibers along with a lollipop charm I made with beads. That's my tag guys. Hope you liked it!

Fall ATC swap with Lydia
I participated in my first ATC swap with Lydia at http://sanchezexpressions.blogspot.com. We had to create our cards in what we saw or thought Fall to be.
For my ATC's I used patterned paper by DCWV- Indian Summer(2009). My image is a Tilda stamp by Magnolia. I think she was from years's fall collection. The image was to big for my ATC, so stamped her on plain paper then scanned her into my computer and resized her to fit my card. Once printed I colored the images using my copic markers. I also added some stickles to the little pumkins. The sentiment on my card is from TPC Studio clear stamps- Autumn Harvest. I stamped it in TH distress ink- Vintage photo and used TH spiced marmalade, aged mahogany, and shabby shutters to color the label. And of course you can't forget the bling!!
On the back of the card I added a pocket and a tag cut out using the mirror function key from Tags,Bags,Boxes and more. On my tag I wrote what "Fall is" to me.

Wedding Card
Today i made a cute little card for a wedding we are going to next weekend. I used my cricut along with the design studio to weld the card together and used the "sweethearts" cartridge.
The pattern paper is from an 8X8 "Wedding" pad by Making memories. The card was cut out with white cardstock at 5". Then I covered the card using the shadow feature in black and layered with the blackout in gray. The trim at the bottom of the card I found at my local Dollar store. The whole card was inked along the edges with black soot distress ink. I made a 6X6 envelope using my Martha Stewart score board and used some left over pattern paper along the bottom.

Altered gift box for my mom
Sorry its been so long. I altered this wooden box I purchased at Michael's. It's unfinished and ready for decorating. I used Folkart acrylic paint in Metallic Garnet red on the entire box. Once dry I covered with patterned paper by Creative Imaginations. I sanded all the edges and used distress ink in dusty concord. I sealed the whole box with glossy Mod Podge and then embellished the lid. The letter A was cut with my Cricut using base camp cart. I then ran thru my bigshot using a cuttlebug embossing folder(music notes). I made paper roses in two diff sizes and added diamond dust to the edges. My favorite part was using the Elvis stamp both outside and inside the box. My mom loves Elvis!! This will be a birthday gift for her this weekend! Love ya mom!

Nana's Nursery Baby Girl Mini Album
Hello Ladies!
Today I have another mini for you! Yet another gift for a dear friend who recently had her 2nd girl! This mini was made using one of those Michael's $1.00 bin chipboard albums. I used DCWV "Nana's Nursery Baby Girl" patterned paper along with pastel cardstock from Walmart. The baby's name was cut from the Storybook Cartridge at 1". I didn't have any adhesive pearls so i used some pre-strung pearls and used mini glue dots to hold them down. My favorite new creations were my paper roses. I cut them using my Cricut and MTC at 2" and inked the edges and used Diamond Dust to make them sparkle!! I am very pleased the way they came out!!
Other Cricut Cartridges used: New Arrival, Sentimentals, Fabulous Finds.

Teacher's Gifts
I am proud to say my son graduated from the 8th grade on June 4th.
I decided to make his Principal and 8th grade teacher a good bye/thank you gift.
The first project is an altered papermache book from Michael's. I painted it with gold acrylic paint and used paper from the DCWV "Mariposa" collection. I used mod podge to adhere the paper and seal it as well. The embellishments are prima flowers, brads for the centers and a butterfly from Michael's.
The second project is a clipboard also from Michael's. I removed the clip to make it easier in gluing down the paper. The paper is from the DCWV "Sorbet" collection. The flourish is from Tim Holtz grungepaper pack. I took some pearl ex powder and mixed it with a little mod podge and painted it on. The results were great. I added a quote from the computer on plain cardstock and glimmer misted it with "old lace". Some mini roses, a lollipop flower and lace for a finishing touch!
Congrats to my son for graduating with "second Honors"!

I have created my own "mini roses" using cardstock and a Mcgill punch called "flowers-petite petals". They are fun to make with any color cardstock and they look even better with stickles, glimmer mist or some diamond dust! Here are some pictures I took. Please check out my YT video for a tutorial on how to make them! If you have any questions please email me.

You & Me gate mini album
This mini was a special request by my co-worker. She asked me to make a mini for her daughter as a wedding anniversary gift. I don't know her daughter, so I collected some info from her as far colors she liked and so on. This is what I came up with!!
It is an 8 x 8 gate mini. The paper collection is by GCD studios: "Cloisonne". All the pages were embossed with "jeweled gold" embossing powder by stampendous. Cricut cartridges used: Sweethearts, Storybook, Fabulous Finds. I had a lot of fun creating this one. Will definitely have to make another one for myself!!!

Happy Mother's Day!!
Today I have a mother's day card. I used both the "Paisley" and "Mother's Day" cricut carts.
The card is 5 x 7 in size and double matted. The cherry patterned paper is by doodle bug designs. I used DCWV glitter paper for the turtle and I used one Martha Stewarts border punch on the bottom of the patterned paper. Thought it came out pretty cute!!!

My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #11
"Colors of the Rainbow"
My first challenge ever. I made a quick card: 4 1/2 x 5 1/2. I must say it was a bit of challenge being that I made it in a hurry and I don't usually use all these colors together. The circles were cut using the "cirles" die by cuttlebug. I used the "Home Decor" cricut cartridge for the frame and the title.
